About Me

As a Christian, I view God as the ultimate source of healing and believe counseling can be one of the many tools He uses to bring about emotional and relational health.  Therapy can be a challenging and difficult process for many people.  Therefore, I focus on developing a strong therapeutic relationship characterized by active listening, compassionate direction, and professional trust.  My desire for all clients is that they will gain insight into their issues, deal honestly with their setbacks, and move fearlessly toward their goals.  While I may use varied therapeutic approaches to best fit therapy to the issues at hand, a developmental framework is used as my main orientation.

Family is very important to me, so when away from the office I highly value spending time with my wife and daughter.  I enjoy road trips, playing games, working puzzles and watching various sports.  My faith is central to my life, and I try to express that in how I live and the choices I make.  I feel very privileged to use the experience, training and gifts God has given me to help people find perspective and hope in their lives and relationships.
