About Me
Trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I believe in coming along beside each individual to assist in navigating through the difficult seasons of life. Aware of the courage required to make an appointment with a therapist, I am careful to approach each session with respect, understanding, a listening ear and a willingness to help clear up some of the confusion.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor/I with the State of South Carolina, I provide psychotherapy and counseling, offering therapy for pre-marital and marital counseling, family and relationship issues, and life coaching. Frequently, I address career, parenting and adolescent issues.
I have many years of experience as a pastor, church planter (Virginia, Massachusetts & South Carolina), ministry consultant and was a licensed financial advisor with several insurance and banking institutions. My wife Susan and I have been married for 30 years, and we have three grown children. In my spare time, I love sports, playing music and a good laugh.
