I became a counselor after spending 25 years in education, public relations, and public policy. My decision to return to graduate school and change careers mid-life stemmed from a desire to make a difference in the lives of people in a more poignant way. I believe my life experiences provide a unique and seasoned perspective in the counseling room.
My great desire is to help others experience hope, purpose and wholeness in their lives. Pain and struggle are universal, but our experiences with them are not, and they can leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, and alone. I provide a safe, supportive space for people to restore their balance, improve their relationships with themselves, God, and other people, and to begin to flourish. Whether you have experienced profound trauma, are navigating a transition in life, or have hit a difficult bump along the way, I would be honored to walk with you.
When I’m not working I love to read, hike, travel, and explore with my husband. We often bring along our goldendoodle to join us.
