My decision to become a mental health professional stems from my genuine desire to help others. I hope to connect with my clients in an authentic way that will help to shed light on positive areas of their life; to provide encouragement when they are struggling most. I understand that it can sometimes be a difficult decision to come for counseling, so I strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment where you can be yourself. Through my eclectic approach, I use a variety of techniques to help individuals identify their core values, learn new coping skills, and analyze their strengths and weaknesses. This method assists individuals to realize their full potential and enable them to live a prosperous life.
On a personal note, I was born and raised in Lexington, South Carolina and also spent two years abroad in Florence, Italy. Though my time living abroad, I have not only developed a love for travel, but also a deep appreciation for other cultures and perspectives. My family owns a gift boutique where we try to offer items that “give back." I love working at our store to create promotions designed to raise funds for charity as it is a great creative outlet and a rewarding way to help the local community. In addition to my passion for travel, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, but especially with my dog Mocha.
