About Me

Come, let us work together through the troubling issues of life that you are facing. Issues that have left you with a sense of hopelessness, loneliness, confusion or anger. Issues that have left you broken hearted and crushed. My position as a counselor is not that of a fixer, but as a helper. I will support you on your journey out of darkness and despair and into empowerment and hope. Come, let us take this journey together.

When I am not serving as a counselor, I love spending time with my family, writing and gardening. I am a returned Peace Corps Health Education and Nutrition Volunteer, having served in Liberia, West Africa. Currently, I am an Associate Pastor in the AME Zion Church. I am also the Chaplain of the Columbia Branch of the National Association of University Women.
My husband, Michael, is a Pastor and we have four grown children, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. They make my heart smile!
